Institu\u00eddo no pa\u00eds em 1961, pelo ent\u00e3o presidente J\u00e2nio Quadros. L\u00e1 se v\u00e3o 54 anos onde muita coisa no esporte mudou. Novas tecnologias, novas regras nas modalidades, o surgimento de novos \u00eddolos esportivos. O que n\u00e3o mudou, foi a dedica\u00e7\u00e3o realizada por quem busca superar seus limites a todo instante.<\/p>\n<p>Do grego \u201cathlet\u00e9s\u201d, que significa \u201clutador\u201d, a palavra atleta \u00e9 o termo utilizado na l\u00edngua portuguesa para denominar quem pratica esportes ou tem capacidade f\u00edsica acima da m\u00e9dia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Curta a nossa p\u00e1gina !
